2 poundssweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/4 cuppacked dark brown sugar
1 tspground cinnamon
1/2 tspground nutmeg
1/8 tspsalt
2 tbspbutter, cut into 1/8 inch pieces
1 tspvanilla

Combine all ingredients except butter and vanilla in slow cooker; mix well. Cover; cook on low 7 hours or on high 4 hours. Add butter and vanilla; stir to blend.
