Ingredients

30 mins
  1. 1diced medium carrot
  2. 1/2diced onion
  3. Olive oil
  4. Red pepper flakes
  5. Minced garlic
  6. 4 cansnorthern beans undrained
  7. 1Bay leaf
  8. 1Goya ham flavored packet
  9. 1 cupchopped ham or leftover ham

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Add olive oil to coat bottom and add diced carrots over med high heat 3 minutes

    Then add onions red pepper flakes and ham

    Simmer for few minutes then add undrained beans and seasonings I also add Goya ham packet

    Add basil leaves and give stir close in simmer for 20/30 minutes

    Discard basil leaves and enjoy
