  2. Butter (extra to grease pan with)
  3. 1 shotWhiskey
  4. 1 tspVanilla
  5. 2 cSugar
  6. 1 cOrange Juice (fresh is better)
  7. 4Eggs (separate egg whites from yolks)
  8. 1Egg (to brush over unbaked cookies)
  9. 6-8 cFlour
  10. 1 tspSoda per cup of flour (6-8 tsp soda)
  11. Sesame Seeds (enough to sprinkle over unbaked cookies)

Cooking Instructions

25-30 minutes
  1. 1

Beat 4 egg whites, let them set aside in a bowl.

  2. 2

Melt butter to creamy, smooth and mix well with sugar. Add egg yolks, orange juice, whiskey, and vanilla. Mix well again. Last, add the beaten egg whites and beat well with the rest of ingredients.

  3. 3

In a large mixing bowl with all the mixed ingredients, start to add flour. To each cup of flour add 1 tsp soda. Keep adding your flour and soda until dough forms.

  4. 4

Butter pans with butter before you start your cookies. With your hands, pick up walnut size of dough, start to roll the dough into a long form, twist dough into "S", "O", or "8s".

  5. 5

Take the last egg and beat well until fluffy. Using a pastry brush, spread on top of the unbaked cookies. Sprinkle the tops of cookies with sesame seeds. Cook at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
