Heat a pan and dry roast sesame seeds for 3-4 minutes, let cool then grind it to coarse powder.

Roast mawa till colour changes or for about 4-5 minutes, keep aside.

Heat ghee in a pan add grated jaggery and let it melts add coarse sesame powder and cardamom powder, mix well.

Put the mixture in a large bowl when it is warm add mawa and mix well again.

Bind and give the shape of batti and roll in roasted sesame seeds and place an almond slice at the centre.
