Ingredients

  • 120 gmsmaida
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • 60 gmsbutter
  • 200 gmscondensed milk
  • 1/2 cupfresh orange pulp/juice
  • 1 tbsporange zest
  • 1/2 tspvanilla essence
  • 2 tbspblueberry compote
  • 2 tbspfresh cream
  • 60 gmswhite granular sugar

Steps

    Sieve maida with baking powder, baking soda & keep aside.

    In a baking tin, line it with parchment paper/butter paper & keep it aside, preheat the oven to 160°c

  3. 3

    In a bowl take butter, add sugar to it & beat it for 2min, then add condensed milk & mix well.

    Then add orange zest, vanilla essence & fresh cream mix it nicely, then add sieved maida mixture & gradually add orange pulp & make a batter.

    Pour the batter in a baking tin, place blueberry compote on the batter randomly & with a spoon or a toothpick swirl it, then bake it in a preheated oven for 45min over 160°c. Coil should be both sides & place the tin on lower rack.

    Check the cake once after 40min, by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean remove it from the oven & cool it for atleast 3 hours before slicing it.

    Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
