Steps

Soak the rice for overnight.

Take 1 cup of the soaked rice and cook, when the rice is cooked let it cool down.

Blend the remaining 4 cups of the soaked rice to make a smooth paste.

Add the cooked rice into the rice paste and mix them until they are well combined.

Add yeast and mix them very well, cover the paste & keep it in a warm place for about 2hrs to rise.

Bring the mixture and add in the baking powder, salt, sugar and the chopped onion, mix them all together.

Add a little water and mix them again.

Put the masa pan over a heat, add a little oil and fry.
