Heat a cooker. Once heated add oil in it

Now add cumin seeds and asafoetida in it. After one minute add Onion and saute till it changes it's colour.

When Onion becomes golden brown add whole spices and fry them.

Now add tomato and green chilli and mix it nicely.

When tomato is cooked add red chilli powder turmeric powder and coriander powder and cook them

When spices are cooked add chopped lauki and potato. mix everything properly.

Add salt and water. Mix them well.

After first boil add garam masala and Maggie masala.

Close the lid and cook till 2 whistles.

After 2 whistles turn off the flame.

Release pressure and after that open cooker.

Your shahi lauki is ready to serve.
