Soak cashew in hot water for some time. Then grind it to paste.
Take a pan, add oil and heat it. - 2
Add bay leaf and green cardamom to it.
Then add chopped ginger and green chilli. Saute it for few minutes. - 3
Add chopped tomatoes and saute it.
Add a little salt to it. Cook the tomatoes until it becomes soft. - 4
Once done, let it cool. Remove the bay leaf. Then grind it to a smooth paste. (You can sieve the puree)
Now, take a pan. Add 1 Teaspoon of oil and butter. Melt it. - 5
Add green chilli to it. Saute it.
Add ground puree to it. Mix and saute it on a medium flame. - 6
Add red chilli powder to it. Mix well. Cook it for 5 to 7 minutes.
Then add cashew paste to it. Mix well.
Add malai to it. Mix well. - 7
Add paneer cubes, kasuri methi and garam masala. Mix well. Cook for a minute.
Once the oil leaves the side then switch off the gas. - 8
Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves. (Add honey after switching off the gas and mix well.)
Yummy 'Paneer Butter Masala' is ready to be served.
