Ingredients

  1. 1 cupRice flour
  2. 2 tbspRoasted urad daal powder
  3. 2 tbspSoaked Chana daal
  4. 1 tbspChilli powder
  5. 1/2 TSPAsafoetida
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 2 tbspButter
  8. Oil for frying
  9. Water for kneading

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients one by one

  2. 2

    Add enough water to knead to a soft dough

  3. 3

    Make small balls out of the dough

  4. 4

    Apply little oil on the parchment paper or plastic sheet

  5. 5

    Flatten each ball with the help of four fingers to a thin thattai

  6. 6

    Fry in a medium hot oil to crispy thattai

  7. 7

    Store in a airtight container.
