  • 1 rackribs
  • 2 tablespoonshoney
  • 4 tablespoonssugar
  • 4 tablespoonsvinegar
  • 4 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 2 tablespoonsketchup
  • 2 tablespoonshot sauce (such as Red Hot or any available)
  • 1 tablespoongarlic powder
  • 1 pinchpepper

    Mix the honey, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, hot sauce, garlic powder, and pepper. Coat the ribs on all sides.

    Place in the oven at 400°F (200°C) covered with aluminum foil for 45 minutes. Remove and baste the ribs again with the juices and a bit of the mixture, then return to the oven for 10 minutes. Repeat the steps, removing from the oven and basting again, for a total of three times, leaving the foil off the last time to caramelize. Done.
