Ingredients

2 servings
  • 2-3pork chops
  • Gyro spice mix (black pepper, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt)
  • 2Greek or Cypriot pitas
  • Tomato
  • Cucumber
  • Onion
  • Olive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the pork chops well and cut them into thin strips to resemble gyro meat. Place them in a bowl, add the spice mix, and refrigerate for about 4-5 hours.

  2. 2

    Place the pork strips on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake at 375°F (190°C).

    Slice the tomato, cucumber, and onion and arrange them on your plate.

    Cut the pitas and warm them up. When the pork is cooked, add it to the plate.
