Ingredients

12 servings
  1. Do dough :
  2. 120 grefined flour
  3. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  4. 1/2 tspsalt water (for kneading)
  5. For chicken stuffing :
  6. 1 cupchicken [ minced ]
  7. 1/2 cupsonion, finely chopped
  8. 1/4 tspblack pepper powder
  9. 1 tspoil
  10. 1/2 tspgarlic paste
  11. 1/2 tspsoya sauce
  12. For chilli sauce :
  13. 25 ggarlic, peeled
  14. 6 gwhole red chilies
  15. 3 tspvinegar
  16. To tastesalt
  17. To tastesugar

    Steps to prepare Chilli Sauce:

    Cut the red chillies and soak them in water for about two hours.

    Cut up into small pieces and soak in the vinegar for one to two hours. 

  3. 3

    Put all the ingredients in a mixie and grind to a smooth paste.

  4. 4

    Steps to prepare momos:

    In a bowl mix all the ingredients of the chicken, Keep aside.

  5. 5

    Knead the refined flour, baking powder and salt together into firm dough. Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Roll the dough into very thin 4-5 inch balls.

  7. 7

    Take each ball and place some filling in the center.

  8. 8

    Bring the edges together and twist to seal it.

  9. 9

    Steam in a steamer for about 10 minutes and serve hot with chilly sauce.

I started to love cooking from when I was 5 years old. I used to tare paper & put it in a bowl and mix it. Then when I was 10 or 9 years old, I was making mini cakes using biscuits. Now I am making food with real ingredients and cakes without biscuits.
