Restaurant Style Matar Mushroom Masala

Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspoil
  2. 1/2 tspginger & garlic paste
  3. 1large onion (finely chopped)
  4. 1/2 tspchilli powder
  5. 1 tspcoriander powder
  6. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 cupgreen peas (Matar)
  8. 100 gmushrooms
  9. 1/2 cuptomato puree
  10. 2 tbspcashew paste
  11. 1/2 tspfenugreek leaves
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. Water (If required)

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic paste, saute (do not burn).

  2. 2

    Add onion and fry for a minute, or until transparent.

  3. 3

    Then add chilli powder coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and cook for a minute.

    Once the masala is cooked then add green peas, salt and cook for a minute.

    Add mushroom, mix and cook for a minute.

    Now add water and mix.

    Then add tomato puree and cashew paste mix well.

  7. 7

    Add tomatoes saute, cover and cook for 2 minutes.

    Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until green peas and mushrooms are soft and tender.

    Then add fenugreek leaves, mix and cook that for one more minute.
