
Cooking Instructions

Cook sausage in skillet leave grease in pan remove cooked sausage set aside

Melt butter in skillet on med heat, in same pan sausage was cooked
- 3
Add flour once butter begins to melt whisk together until it starts to bubble.

Add milk and whisk until starts to thicken and bubble.
- 5
Add cooked sausage continue stirring. Simmer once it begins to bubble. Let simmer until thickens to preference. Add milk to thingravy consistency to liking.

I wanted to make some gravy sauce for meat, and while I was looking on the internet for ideas, I found sausage gravy. This is my original version, that I came up with after a bit of experimentation.Be sure not to take your eyes off the pan, keeping watch so that it doesn't burn. Other than that, it's easy. Add the milk bit by bit until it reaches your desired consistency. You can also add in your favorite vegetables, or make it just using sausage, butter, flour, and milk. This is the best sausage gravy I think there is around. May not be so great for you but oh is it good. It always disappears so quickly.Its so good paired up with bacon and I like to dip my bacon in maple syrup when I have this. Hopefully it's not too weird! lol carrie
