Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180 °c

Into your wet ingredients add in the sieved flour and baking powder combination while alternating with milk to make a pasty constistency.

Once the batter is well combined, divide it into half and add cocoa powder to one the bowl.

Using a spatula/spoon, add the cocoa batter to the baking tin while alternating with the white batter as it forms zebra like strips.

Tap the tin to even out the batter abd remove trapped air and thereafter put into the oven for about 35-40 minutes.

Observe as the cake rises and waft the sweet scent as you make yourself a cup of tea.

Once ready,leave it in a rack to cool and serve with hot tea/spicy tea
