Lauki ke Kofta in Airfryer

For Kofta:
First squeeze out water from grated lauki, discard the water(you may use the water in curry).
Add ajwain,half turmeric powder,half red chilli powder,half garam masala powder and salt to taste in grated lauki.
Add besan and mix it properly, do not add water. - 2
Preheat airfryer to 400 F/200 C for 10 minutes.
Make small balls of the mixture and cook at 375 F/190 C for 5 minutes.Open Fryer and flip the balls. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown (approx 10 min).Applying some oil is optional (by cooking spray/silicone brush). - 3
Curry:
Make paste of ginger,garlic,onion,green chilli and keep it aside.
Make tomato puree and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fry it for few seconds on medium flame.
Reduce the flame to low, add red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix it.
Add the onion paste, cumin powder and coriander powder and cook for 2 minutes.
Add tomato paste and mix it,cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame, keep stirring in between. - 4
Add 1 cup water and salt to taste, stir and boil it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
Put all the koftas in gravy, add garam masala powder and stir it, cook it for 2 minutes on low-medium flame.
Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
Lauki kofta curry is ready to Serve with roti, paratha and rice.
