Ingredients

  • 2 cupmaize flour
  • 1 tsp eachhaldi (turmeric),saunf (fennel)
  • 1cup peas
  • as neededcoriander leaves
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 tspcumin, rai (mustard), salt
  • 1/2 tsp each soda
  • 2 cup water

Steps

  1. 1

    Take maize flour in bowl mix salt, red chill powder, jeera, saunf,haldi in it. Now add peas,green chilies, soda,coriander leaves to the flour.

  2. 2

    Now make a soft dough by adding water. Divide the dough into small portion & make dhokla.

  3. 3

    Boil water in pan,gently drop dhokla, boil them 10 min. The makki dhokla are now ready. Serve them chutney or lahsuni dal.
