Caramelised pineapples

Cut pineapples into chunks

Add a tablespoon sugar, pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon and two tablespoons of water into a pan

Let the sugar dissolve until it starts to bubble and brown alittle. Add the pineapple chunks and fry in the caramel until it browns beautifully. Takes about two minutes on medium low heat.

Put them into sticks and serve as side dish. I served mine with my favourite French Toast. You can have it with ice-cream or yoghurt.
