Steps

Peel and wash the carrots and chop carrots in a mixture grinder

Melt desi ghee in a pan add chopped carrots in it and saute for 15-20 min on low flame till carrots cook well

Add cardamom powder along with sugar and cook the mixture. Cook it for 5 min on low flame till mixture evaporates

Add khoya and cook the mixture collect together
- 5
When the carrot mixture dries up and it is ready to set transfer the mixture in a greased plate
- 6
Leave the mixture at room temperature for 2-3 hours for setting
- 7
Cut carrot barfi in pieces and garnish with nuts
