Ingredients

2 people
  • For kachodi ingredients :
  • 1 cupmoong daal
  • 2 cupsmaida or refined flour
  • 1 teaspoonAajwain
  • 1 teaspoonBlack pepper
  • 1 cupghee
  • 1 teaspoonJeera
  • 1 teaspoonFennel Seeds
  • 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  • 1 teaspoongaram masala
  • 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 teaspoonsugar
  • 1/2 tea spoonhing
  • 4 tbsp besan
  • For making dahi chat :
  • 1 tablespoontomato sauce
  • 1 teaspooncoriander chutney
  • 1/2 cupdahi / curd
  • 1/4 teaspoonpomegranate
  • 1/4 teaspoonfried aaloo papad
  • 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  • 2-3fried chilli 1/2 teaspoon sev
  • 1/2 teaspoondry boondy
  • 1/2 teaspoonchat masala

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all this moong daal is soaked into water upto two hours.

  2. 2

    Then sieve carefully, then grind it, very carefully for few seconds, hence it becomes not so thin.

  3. 3

    Then take a bowl pour maida, put ghee black pepper, Aajwain, salt then make dough.

  4. 4

    Then make stuff of moong daal, take a pan insert oil of two spoons, then put Jeera, shonff, dhania mix well, then put besan then mix again.

  5. 5

    Then put all spices, finally add this moong daal, then cook it upto 2-3 minutes then switch off the gas flame.

  6. 6

    Then this stuff is filled and make small kachoris and fried it in oil and keep out.

    Then cut into two or three pieces, then spread curd over it.

  8. 8

    Then put tomato sauce, coriander chutney, pomegranate, sev, fried papad, lemon juice, dry boondy, chat masala then serve it.
