Soak the daal for 2-3 hrs and then remove water and dry it with the help of cloth.. Once it is nicely dry then we will dry roast it till it changes it colour.. once the colour is changed let it cool for a while and grind it in a mixer jar.. It should not be fully powder..

Heat a pan add ghee in it now add the grinded daal in it.. Again we have to roast it very nicely till a sweet smell starts coming and the colour changes to golden brown.. After the colour changes add milk you can also add mawa and milk or both.. Now mix them nicely till it start becoming thick..

Now we will add sugar and again mix it nicely till it start leaving the pan.. At last we will garnish it with dry fruits of our choice.. Our instant mung daal halwa is ready to eat..
