Ingredients

20 mins
  1. 100 mlwhite wine vinegar
  2. 1/2large white onion, chopped
  3. 1/2sweet red pepper, chopped
  4. 3garlic cloves, whole
  5. 1scotch bonnett, whole
  6. 3Birdseye chillis, whole
  7. 25 mltomato puree
  8. 20 ggranulated sugar
  9. Pinchsalt
  10. Pinchpepper
  11. 25 mllime juice
  12. 20 gcornflour, mixed with a splash of water

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients to food processor and blend.

  2. 2

    In a sauce pan, bring to a light simmer and stir until sauce has thickened to a runny paste.

  3. 3

    Cool sauce then transfer into a bottle and keep refrigerated. Will last as long as standard condiments.
