Ingredients

  • 5 leavesromaine lettuce
  • 2tomatoes
  • 2cucumbers
  • 1small cup fresh mint leaves (about 1/4 cup, 10 grams)
  • 1/2 bunchparsley (about 1/2 cup, 15 grams)
  • 1small cup corn (about 1/4 cup, 40 grams) (optional)
  • 4cabbage leaves
  • 2green onions
  • 2radishes
  • 1pita bread, cut into pieces
  • Salt
  • Citric acid or sumac
  • Olive oil (amount to taste)

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash all the vegetables thoroughly with water and a vegetable sanitizer or with water and vinegar.

  2. 2

    Toast the pita bread in the oven or fry it in a little oil.

  3. 3

    Chop all the vegetables to your preferred size—I like medium cubes.

  4. 4

    Add a little olive oil, salt, and citric acid or pomegranate molasses to the vegetables and mix well.

  5. 5

    Add the toasted bread and serve.
