Method: 1) Place oil in a large wok for deep frying on high heat.
2) Wash and dry the eggplants and cut them into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Fry the eggplant slices until golden brown on both sides. Remove from oil and place on kitchen towel to absorb excess oil. Once you have fried all the eggplant place the rounds in a overlapping pattern in your serving dish.

Note: my picture of the dish doesn’t include onions because my father doesn’t like them and I ran out of almonds so added crushed salted peanuts instead. You can use green chillies for decoration it's your choice.

Super simple, and really celebrates the fresh, sweet flavor of the eggplant. We were lucky to make these with eggplants from our own garden - make this the same day that you buy the eggplants for maximum flavor. If you can, get the “pearl brinjal” variety. Aleysha Jien -

Salad with Peanut and Dried Shrimp (SALADA SIRAM KACANG EBI) Salad with Peanut and Dried Shrimp (SALADA SIRAM KACANG EBI)
Ebi (in Japanese 海 老/ebi means "shrimp"; closer is Hokkien: Hebi or Mandarin: Xiami; Hanzi Traditional :蝦米; Hanzi Simple :虾米) are small, dried shrimp and dried . Ebi is usually used as a spice in cooking Indonesian or Chinese - Indonesian cuisine. In West Kalimantan, I encountered this dish when I was invited to a friend's birthday event. It was called a "salad", but the greens used were sweet potato leaves and kale. It combined other ingredients that enrich the flavor, especially really crunchy, raw eggplant. For the final touch, adding peanut sauce and dried shrimp is tasty... mmm YUMMY Dapoer-Indonesia @ us -

Cauliflower Parmesan Cauliflower Parmesan
Take it easy, take it easy. This is a really good recipe. It has great texture, great flavor and is very simple to make. I’ve seen recipes that call for flour egg and breadcrumbs on the slabs of cauliflower and then frying them. However I have done it that way and by just slicing the slabs, putting them on a bit of pizza sauce, more pizza sauce on top and sliced fresh lightly salted mozzarella. Having done it each of these ways, I don’t see the benefit of the added effort, time and mess of frying the cauliflowerA little bit of shaved Romano after you take it out of a 400° oven for 40 minutes, let it cool for 15 minutes and it’s really good. Excellent leftovers, even at room temperature. john wynne -

Just look at all the places that sell fried rice; the rice used is definitely not mushy and does not stick to one another (Javanese : KEPYAR).Java island is part of the largest Indonesian state (population) with divided into some provinces including Central Java, West Java and East Java. For fried rice recipe in this article, from Java - which is part of Central Java. One of these variations is the “Fried Rice from Central Java”, which is pink with a side dish of vegetables, cabbage and shredded chicken. The marinade is very simple - typical kampung/village - in the form of seasoning (sauce) that's smoothed using a mortar. Unlike other fried rice, because it is without extra ketchup and sauces, the color of this dish doesn't have too much contrast. It's characteristic feels like "calm but rich in flavor and tempting." Make Nasi Goreng Jawa Tengah ideally with strong afternoon tea. Dapoer-Indonesia @ us -

Ddukbokki with Pork & Kimchi Ddukbokki with Pork & Kimchi
Ddukbokki is a dish made with plain dduk (Korean rice cake that has a plain rice flavor and a texture something like a cross between gnocchi and mochi when cooked), a sweet and spicy hot sauce made with gochujang and often also with Korean style fish cake called odeng or eomuk. But when we were kids, my dad always made it with pork and ripe kimchi, and it's my favorite way to eat it.The chew of the dduk, a little bite of pork, some crunchytangy contrast from the ripe kimchi, and that sweet and spicyhot sauce - Delicious memories... :) x
