
Light Mashed Potato and Meat Casserole

In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with the milk, salt and white pepper.

Add in the light butter and mix again until you get a smooth paste.

In a pan, fry the onions in 2 teaspoons of oil until soft. Add in the meat, cinnamon, pepper and salt. Cook until meat is done.

Brush a baking pan with 2 teaspoons of oil and cover the bottom with half of the potato mix. Spread evenly the meat mix on top and arrange the remaining potato mix over it.

Preheat the oven to medium heat.

Spread the breadcrumbs all over the surface.

Bake in the oven 30 min and then put it on the highest rack for 5 mins or until nicely browned.
