It looks like besan cheela but in fact it taste like pakora.
Steps

In a large bowl, mix the chickpea flour with salt and the spices. Stirring with a whisk, add 1 cup water.

Add the onions, potatoes, green chillies, dried methi leaves and baking soda to the chickpea batter. Mix well.

Heat 1 tbsp Oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, pour one tbsp of the mixture over the oil and spread it. Allow it to cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add few drops of oil on the top and flip the pakora and cook on the other side also till done.

Take it out and drain on paper towels.

Serve the hot pakoras with green chutney.
