Ingredients

  • 1/4 lbgreen onions (4 or 5 small bundles)
  • 3 Tbspchopped garlic
  • 1lemon
  • 1Jalepeno
  • TbspBrown Sugar
  • 1 TspChinese 5 spice
  • 2 TbspCrushed Red Pepper Flakes or 1 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1large Red Pepper
  • 1 cupOlive or Coconut or Whatever oil you have
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    I like to grill the green onions to add a little depth of flavor but completely up to you.

    Add all your ingredients into a food processor or blender and slowly add the oil until you reach a nice "pesto" like consistency

    Refrigerate for atleast 4 hours to let the flavors blend together. The longer it sits the better it gets!

    Note* You may use any Hot peppers that you like, scotch bonnet are traditional but I had Jalepenos on hand. It's all personal preference
