Add the glutinous rice flour and all-purpose flour to a bowl. Gradually add the warm water and knead until the dough is soft and smooth.

Divide the dough into 7 to 10 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.

Bring water to a boil. Drop the dough balls into the boiling water and cook until they float to the surface. Remove them and place in a bowl of cold water. Make sure the dumplings don't stick together.

To make the syrup, add the brown sugar to a pot with 1 cup (250 ml) of water. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly. Add a little ginger for a fragrant flavor. If you prefer a thicker syrup, you can add a bit of cornstarch.

Once the dumplings and syrup are ready, pour the syrup into a bowl, add the dumplings, and sprinkle with shredded coconut, crushed roasted peanuts, and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
