Ingredients

25 minutes
5 servings
  • 2Bananas (medium sized - ripened)
  • 10dates
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped nuts (Cashew, Almonds, walnut)
  • 1/2 cupgrated coconut
  • 1/4 cupghee
  • 2eggs
  • 1/2 cupbread crumbs

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker, add 2 bananas and enough water.cook for 2 whistles. (can also be steam cooked)

  2. 2

    Peel the skin and mash the bananas

  3. 3

    Add 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and saute the chopped nuts. Add in the pitted dates. finally add grated coconut and mashed banana and combine well. take off from heat

  4. 4

    Apply little ghee in palms and start making balls out of the mixture and flatten them

    Dip them in whisked eggs and coat with bread crumbs

    Shallow fry them in a tawa by adding 2-3 tspn of ghee
