
Beef Picatta

This recipe is very easy & tasty, it looks very nice on the table when having people over.
Options with this recipe:
- You may add cream/milk at the end to get a creamer taste & color.
- You can also coat picatta in flour before frying it, it gives a nice coat too.
- You can replace the beef with chicken & add chicken stock.
- You just make some rice, with mashed potatoes or sautee vegetables and You Are All Done :)
Beef Picatta

Steps

Season picatta with salt & pepper. Drain the mushroom's water, and set aside on a plate soaked in lemon & pepper.

In a pan, add oil & butter; once drizzled add picatta, till finely browned from both sides. Then remove & set aside.

In same pan, add rest of butter & oil, then add the mushrooms, stir for a minute and add flour quickly, keep stirring.

Once it makes a dough with the mushrooms (don worry you are on the right track!) Start putting the stock slowly. Keep stirring with the whisk till you reach your optimum texture.
