Yuca is a tuber that is known and consumed in many countries around the world. Here, we eat it boiled—seasoned with a sauce made from fat, garlic, and lime—in stews or soups, and fried. To fry it, we use cooked yuca.

Cooking Instructions

Divide the cooked yuca pieces into parts—you can do this with a knife or with your hands—and remove the stringy core from the center.

Place enough oil or lard in a pan and heat it over high heat.
- 3
When the fat is very hot, add the yuca pieces to fry and let them brown well.
- 4
Serve and enjoy, fried yuca is very tasty.
