Wash and cube the potatoes and carrots hen boil till soft. Drain and set aside

In a pot add the butter, grated onion,garlic and sauté

Add the milk

Followed by the black pepper and salt

Add the veggies and the oregano. Cover the pot and allow it to cook (do not over cook else the milk will start to curdle)

Serve hot

You can use beef/chicken broth instead of milk, I just prefer the creamy one 😋 use heavy cream for more creaminess
