Chicken Parmesan

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the 2 chicken breasts into thin strips than heat up vegetable oil in a large pan on medium high heat
- 2
Now combine bread crumbs and spices on a plate next whisk an egg and about 1/2 tbsp of water into a shallow bowl. First cover a strip in the bread crumbs then dip in egg and back into bread crumbs (make sure they are well covered you may need more egg or bread crumb blend)
- 3
When the oil is heated only put 3 - 4 in at a time and cover with paper towel and cook all the way through but be carful to not burn the crust and when finshed put to the side
- 4
Preheat the oven to 375° and begin heating marinara and lay out crescent rolls and cheese
- 5
When the marinara is ready dunk the strip in it and put cheese on the wide part of the dough and then place the chicken strip on top and roll up and place on a pan (this gets pretty messy)
- 6
After you completed step 5 and your oven is ready place in for about 15 - 20 minutes until the dough is golden brown
- 7
When they are done I would suggest melting butter and sweeping some on the top with a dash of garlic salt and enjoy

Chicken Parmesan Chicken Parmesan
I had these huge chicken breasts to cook but I find the big ones tend to be tough even after brining sooo....I split the whole breast then butterflied them. Still HUGE so I cut them through and beat the crap out of them. Easy but a little time consuming. In the end, perfectly fork tender though. I literally had to dig for ingredients. Been out of town so I used what I had. Sometimes I wow myself 😂 SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Chicken Parmesan Chicken Parmesan
This is our take on chicken parmesan. It's not a classic, traditional recipe but it is delicious! We enjoy a combination of alfredo and marinara sauce for our recipe. The overall process is a little time consuming and involved...it takes a lot of multi-tasking...but it is so darn good. We usually save it for a weekend night when we have more time in the evenings. You may also have some marinara leftover (we usually do), but it can be refrigerated for another recipe in the next few days or it can be frozen. Christina -
