Ingredients

  1. 1. Onion - 1 sliced
  2. 2. Tomato - 2 sliced
  3. 3. Garlic - 4 chopped nicely
  4. 4. Green chilli - 4 sliced
  5. 5. Turmeric - pinch
  6. 6. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  7. 7. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  8. 8. Salt - as needed
  9. 9. Coriander leaves - to garnish
  10. 10. Egg - 3 boiled and sliced
  11. 11. Oil - 2 tbsp
  12. To Grind:
  13. 1. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  14. 2. Coconut - 3 tbsp
  15. 3. Cashews - 4

Steps

  1. 1

    1. Heat kadai add onion. Once onion turns golden brown add garlic and green chilli. Saute a bit. Now add sliced tomatoes.

    2. Add turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Cook until tomatoes turns mush and oil comes out of the edges.

    3. Now add the ground paste. Add 1 cup of water. Let it boil for another 5 minutes in low flame.

    4. Now add garam masala and boil another 2 minutes. Adjust salt.

    5. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or parotta.
