Steps

1. Heat kadai add onion. Once onion turns golden brown add garlic and green chilli. Saute a bit. Now add sliced tomatoes.
2. Add turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Cook until tomatoes turns mush and oil comes out of the edges.

3. Now add the ground paste. Add 1 cup of water. Let it boil for another 5 minutes in low flame.
4. Now add garam masala and boil another 2 minutes. Adjust salt.

5. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or parotta.
