Ingredients

30 minutes
3 -4 serving
  1. For khichadi:
  2. 1/2 cuprice
  3. 1 tbspghee
  4. 3 tbspgreen moong dal
  5. 1 tbsptuvar dal
  6. 1 tspmustard seeds
  7. 5-6curry leaves
  8. 1 tbspchopped onion
  9. 1 tbspchopped potato
  10. 1 tbspcoriander leaves
  11. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 1 tspred chilli powder
  14. 1 tspgreen chilli chopped
  15. 1/2 cupwater
  16. 1 tspgarlic-ginger paste
  17. For Kadi:
  18. 1 tbspoil
  19. 1 tspgarlic-ginger paste
  20. 1/2 tspmustard seed
  21. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  22. 1 tbspbesan / gram flour
  23. 1 cupcurd
  24. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  25. to tasteSalt
  26. 4-5curry leaves
  27. 1/4 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    For khichadi: Heat pressure cooker, add oil, mustard seeds, chopped onion, cook till, colour changes to translucent.

    Add soaked Dal and rice, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt, red chilli powder, haldi, garlic-ginger paste, mix well.

    Add 1 cup of water, cover with lid. Cook till 5 whistle. Cook on slow flame for 5 minutes. Open it, check the consistency or add water. Serve hot.

    For Kadi: In a bowl, add curd, besan, salt, haldi, 1/2 cup water.

    Mix with blender, take a ingredients of tadka.

    Heat oil, add mustard seed, cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, sugar, curry leaves,hing.

  7. 7

    Add curd & besan mixture, boil for 5 minutes. Off the gas. Serve with khichadi.
