It's healthy, tasty and refreshing in hot summer afternoon.

First shred/grate half a lauki using a grater. Then boil this grated lauki for 10 minutes. Strain the water and keep the boiled, shredded lauki aside to cool down.

Take a bowl and add curd in it. Whisk it using a whisk. Now add water to it per your requirement. Generally lauki raita has a watery consistency but you can keep it thick per your taste as well. Add boiled lauki, salt, garam masala and jeera powder in it and mix it well. Serve it chill with lunch. It's nutritious and help cool down the body in the hot summer afternoon.
