Ingredients

2 servings
  1. Forthe garlic bread dough-
  2. 1 cupWhole Wheat flour
  3. 1/4 cupmaida
  4. 1/2 tspSugar
  5. As requiredSalt
  6. 1/4 tspinstant yeast
  7. 100 mlLukewarm water plus milk
  8. 2 tbspoil
  9. As requiredChilli flakes
  10. As requiredOregano
  11. Forgarlic butter-
  12. 3 tbspAmul Butter
  13. 4 tbspGarlic chopped
  14. 2 tbspGrated Cheese (optional)
  15. 2 tbspChopped coriander leaves
  16. For stuffing-
  17. 2 tbspprocessed cheese grated
  18. 2 tbspcrumbled paneer
  19. 1 tbspred coloured capsicum cut into small pieces
  20. 1 tbspyellow coloured capsicum cut into small pieces
  21. 1 tbspgreen coloured capsicum cut into small pieces

Steps

    To make garlic butter: Heat the butter till it melts or simply microwave it and add chopped garlic, a spoon of finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

    Add some red chilli flakes and oregano too.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle some rava on the top also.
    Keep it aside for 25-30 minutes for the second proofing.

  4. 4

    To make the bread dough: Mix all the dry ingredients including yeast very well.

  5. 5

    Make a soft smooth and pliable dough using the milk and water mixture and oil.

  6. 6

    Knead for 10-12 minutes.
    Keep the kneaded dough in an oiled bowl covered with cling film for an hour or till it doubles in size.

  7. 7

    Gently punch the dough to knock out the gases and knead gently for about a minute.

  8. 8

    Take the dough and roll it like a chapati of say 8-10 inches in diameter.

    Spread some garlic butter on it evenly and spread the contents of the stuffing.

    Fold it in the shape of letter “D”.

  11. 11

    Take a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.

  12. 12

    Sprinkle some rava, oregano and chilli flakes on the parchment paper.

  13. 13

    Make small slits on the top of the bread with a sharp knife or pizza cutter and brush it again with some garlic butter.

  14. 14

    Meanwhile pre-heat the oven at 180° celsius for atleast 10 minutes. Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes or till u see a nice golden crust.

    Apply butter and serve hot with herbs cheese spread.
