Gur Pani
Refreshing and healthy drink for summers. #ilovecooking
Steps
- 1
Put the jaggery in a bowl and add the water.
- 2
Let the jaggery melt in the water for about 2 to 3 hours.
- 3
After the jaggery has melted, put the bowl of jaggery water in the fridge so that it becomes chilled.
- 4
Remove from the fridge and add lemon. Taste. Make sure the sourness is balanced with the sweet taste of the jaggery.
- 5
Grate a little ginger in a gratter and add it. I do it as ginger has good healing properties and prevents cough.
- 6
Mix well.
- 7
Pour it in the glass and serve chilled with ice cubes.
