Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1/8 tspbaking powder
  3. 1/2 cupmilk powder
  4. 1 pinchsalt
  5. 3/4 cuppista
  6. 1/2 cup+ 2 tbsp fine sugar
  7. 1/2 cupunsalted butter
  8. 1-3 tspmilk
  9. 1 tsppista essence or any other essence

Cooking Instructions

    Assemble all the dry ingredients.

    Combine butter and sugar until it forms a grainy mix. To this mix add rest of the ingredients and create a soft cookie dough.

    Shape the dough like log and refrigerate for 1 hrs.

    Do not bake the unchilled dough because the unchilled mixture will make the cookie spread and the result would be thin flattened cookies.

    Unwrap the cookie dough and cut it them into peices. Preheat the oven at 350F.

    Place the dough rounds on baking tray.

  7. 7

    Bake the cookies for 10-15 mins.

  8. 8

    Rotate the cookies midway during the total cooking time.

  9. 9

    Allow the cookies to cool down and then serve it.
