Soak the kokum in water for about 1 hour. Grate the coconut and set aside.

Add a little water to the grated coconut, then add garlic, cumin seeds, salt, and sugar. Blend everything together in a blender.

Strain the mixture using a cloth or fine strainer. Squeeze the soaked kokum to extract the juice and mix it into the coconut mixture.

Chill and serve garnished with cilantro leaves.
