Steps

Rinse dals and soak in water.

Wash spinach leaves and Chopp it.

Pressure cook dals adding Asafoetida, turmeric pwder, few drops of oil. And finely chopped tomato and green chilli. (you can add tomato and green chillies in tadka, bt in cooker it gets mash well)

Heat oil add cumin seeds and chopped spinach in it. Add salt, red chilli pwder, and coriander pwder and mix it add this in cooked dals boil it.

While serving heat butter add cumin seeds, Asafoetida finely chopped garlic and dry red chillies. Add this tadka on dal.

Serve this dal with fulka, chapati or rice.
