In a blender, add mustard seeds, 4 green chillies, salt and 2tspn water. Grind until completely smooth. Now add roughly chopped coconut to grinder jar. Blend until coconut pieces have completely broken down.

Take a steel tiffin box, add mustard, chilies, salt, coconut paste, beaten yoghurt, sugar, salt, turmeric and mustard oil. Mix them well. Now add ilish fish and coat each piece of ilish with mustard paste. Silt more 4 green chillies and add with this mashala. Then fasten the lid. Allow the fish to marinate for 15 minutes.

Take a deep pan, pour hot water, it should not reach above half the height of your container. Wait for it to come to a boil. Then put this tiffin box on boiling water, cover and steam on medium heat for 15 minutes.

After 15minutes switch off the gas, rest, with lid on 5 minutes. Serve with hot rice.
