Ilish fish is my all time favourite dish, so I have shared an Odia-Bengali fusion recipe which comes out to be very yummy.

Ilish fish is my all time favourite dish, so I have shared an Odia-Bengali fusion recipe which comes out to be very yummy.

Make a paste with chillies, mustard seeds, salt, curd
Marinate the fish with little salt and turmeric powder, keep aside for 10 minutes, then heat oil in a kadhai place the fish fry till light brown colour on both sides, but don't fry over more than one to two minutes. Keep it aside. - 2
In the same oil add cumin seeds, chilli, cook for one minute then add onion, tomato cook again for 3 minutes, add salt to taste, turmeric powder, add mustard paste with 2 cups of water,

Then add fried fish, coriander leaves, sugar in it cook for 2 minutes, serve with hot rice.
