Ingredients

  1. 200 gramrice
  2. To tasteSalt
  3. 1-2crushed black pepper
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsugar
  5. 1/2 cupThai Basil leaves
  6. 1/2 cupBasil leave paste
  7. as neededLemon grass
  8. 1 teaspooncream
  9. 1 cupvegetable stock
  10. 1 tablespoonbutter
  11. Aa neededOil

Cooking Instructions

    First of all, soak 200 grams rice in for half an hour.

    Now, take a pan put butter and oil. Then add some crushed basil leaves. Now, add vegetable stock,salt,black pepper and chopped lemongrass.

    When the stock comes to a boil add rice and stir slowly. Now, add some more water until the rice is cooked. When the rice is half boiled add basil paste,sugar and remaining crushed black pepper then cover the pan with a lid. When the rice is fully cooked add cream and butter and mix properly. Now, turn off the flame and cover the vessel with a lid. Serve the dish hot with some salad and sauce.
