Enchiladas Suizas
The first recipe I ever made.
Steps
- 1
Boil the chicken breast.
- 2
Also boil the tomatillos and chili pepper.
- 3
Blend 3 cloves of garlic, a small piece of onion, and the boiled tomatillos.
- 4
In a saucepan, heat a little oil and cook the blended mixture for 3 minutes.
- 5
Warm or lightly fry the tortillas.
- 6
Spread some sauce on each tortilla, add chicken inside (or another filling if you prefer), and roll up the tortilla.
- 7
Once rolled, cover well with more sauce.
- 8
Garnish with onion and avocado. You can also add a little lettuce, Mexican crema, and plenty of Oaxaca cheese.
- 9
Bake at 350°F (about 180°C) for 1 hour and 30 minutes, until the cheese melts. Add shredded chicken on top.
- 10
Serve and enjoy!
