Ingredients

45 minutes
4 servings
  1. 2 cuppaneer(cubes)
  2. 9 cupsshredded spinach (palak)
  3. 2 tbsproughly chopped garlic
  4. 1 tbspchopped green chillies
  5. 2 tbspdesi ghee or normal oil
  6. 1/2 cupchopped onion
  7. 1/2fresh cream
  8. 1/4 cupmilk
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 10-1 tbspfinely chopped garlic
  11. 11-1/4 teaspoonDegi mirch
  12. 2- 3 red chillies whole

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil enough water in a deep non- stick pan or kadai,add the spinach and cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes, while stirring occasionally.Drain the water using a strainer and reference the spinach with cold water.

  2. 2

    Combine the blanched spinach, roughly chopped garlic and green chillies in a mixer and blend to a smooth puree without using any water.keep aside.

  3. 3

    Heat the oil in a deep non- stick pan or kadai,add the red chillies, garlic and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute.

  4. 4

    Add the onion and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes and add degi mirch mix well.

  5. 5

    Add the spinach puree, cream,milk and salt mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Add paneer cubes,mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

  7. 7

    Garnish with fresh cream,fried onion.

  8. 8

    Serve hot with parathas,butter naan and rice also.
