Chilli Bhaji is a lovely bite for tea time snack. You can enjoy it with some dips or evening tea.
You can also make this in a different way. Make different fillings/stuffings ie. Potato stuffing or Onion stuffing etc. Stuff it in the chillies. Dip in batter and deep fry.

Steps
- 1
Wash the peppers (chillies) nicely and wipe them with a kitchen towel. Cut into halves. Make a sharp slit on the peppers using a knife. Take out all the inner seeds slowly if you want to reduce the heat.
- 2
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the batter. Add water little by little and make a thick batter (thick but flowing).
- 3
In a pan, heat enough oil to deep fry.
- 4
Dip the chillies in the prepared batter. Coat the peppers with the batter nicely and drop them into the hot oil one by one.
- 5
Fry until nice golden and drain into paper towels.
- 6
Serve hot with tea and enjoy.
