Ingredients

2-3 servings
  1. For Sticky Rice:
  2. 1/2 cupGlutinous Rice
  3. Sweet coconut sauce to mix with sticky rice:
  4. 1/3 cupAyam Brand Coconut Milk Super Light
  5. 1/4 cupSugar
  6. 1/4 teaspoonSalt
  7. 1Pandan Leave
  8. Salted Coconut sauce for serving:
  9. 1/4 cupAyam Brand Coconut Milk 20% Fat
  10. 1 pinchSalt
  11. 1/2 teaspoonRice Flour
  12. 1/2 TablespoonWater
  13. 1Pandan Leave
  14. 1 ripe Mango
  15. Toasted Sesame Seed for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the rice until the water runs clear (4-5x) and soak overnight

  2. 2

    Drain the soaked rice and put into a bowl and steam for 40mins

  3. 3

    Before the rice is done, mix ingredients for sweet coconut sauce in a pot and bring to a boil, keeping it warm

  4. 4

    After 40mins of steaming the rice, turn off the heat and pour the warm sweet coconut sauce. Mix well and cover for 20 mins.

  5. 5

    After 20 mins mix the rice well again and cover for another 15 mins and it's ready.

  6. 6

    Meanwhile also prepare salted coconut sauce by dissolving the rice flour with water and then mix with the rest of the ingredients in a pot and bring to a soft boil. Let it cool and set aside.

  7. 7

    To serve, simply place the warm streamed rice into a plate and drizzle with salted coconut sauce and garnish with toasted Sesame seed. Serve with a cold mango 😊
