Ingredients

  1. 1/2 bowl whole wheat flour
  2. 1 tablespoonsooji
  3. 1/2 teaspoon soda
  4. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  5. 2 tablespoons oil
  6. 1 tablespoonghee
  7. as required water
  8. as per taste salt
  9. ForArhar dal -
  10. 150 gramsarhar dal
  11. 1 tbsp oil
  12. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  14. 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  15. 1/2 teaspoon jeera
  16. 1/4 bunchcoriander leaves
  17. 1 &1/2teaspoonjeera dhaniya powder
  18. 1tomato cut in quarters
  19. 1/2 teaspoonhing
  20. 1/2 tablespoon ghee
  21. 1 tablespooncrushed ginger
  22. as required water

    Take a bowl add whole wheat flour, turmeric powder, soda, salt sooji, oil, give it a good mix now add warm water as required for making a dough which is not so soft or but not too hard.

    Then keep the dough aside for ten minutes.after that remove the cover and mix again and make balls, put a pan on the oven add balls to the boiling water,

    Now keep all under the running fan for drying then put in the microwave oven for five minutes 150 degrees in convection mode. Next put ghee in the heated pan put all baffle balls to the pan saute for a few minutes then add to the plate. Soft tasty bafla is ready.

    Pressure cooked arhar dal :Wash arhar dal using water two to three times, then soaked in water for ten minutes,

    Put pressure cooker in the heated oven,add oil when it is boiled add jeera, mustard seeds,then ginger and hing when spluttering add tomato, dal to the cooker also add turmeric powder and red chilli powder give it a good mix after few minutes add jeera dhania powder then saute for few minutes next green chilli add coriander leaves mix again.

    Add required water close the pressure cooker,and give two to three whistles until it soft, Now open the cover when pressure goes naturally, add ghee keep the pressure cooker in the oven and mix well, dal is ready for serving, and switch off the flame.

    Delicious dal bafla is ready for serving.
